Participants meet Elder Copper Joe Jack, hear opening teachings, and learn the structure of the program, assignments, SDG integration, and respectful knowledge protocols. An opening circle invites learners to share what brings them to the course. Focus: Foundations of Respect, Care, Share; introduction to SDG 13, 14, 15; project seeding.

Session 2: Land as Relationship & Introduction to the LPR Model

Elder teachings on land as a living relative shape how participants begin to consider project directions. The LPR Model is introduced more deeply. Focus: Land-as-relative teachings; beginning project reflection.

Session 3: Case Studies & Engaging with Indigenous Knowledges

Session 3: Case Studies & Engaging with Indigenous Knowledges

Participants review Indigenous-led stewardship case studies and begin imagining how “No Voice” representation might shift their project ideas. They will also engage more deeply with the Protocol for Public Sharing & Engagement of LPR Model Course Knowledge. Focus: SDG 14 (Life Below Water); respectful knowledge engagement; early project alignment.

Session 4: Collaborative Governance & Round-Table Simulation

Participants are guided through a simulated round-table using use the LPR Model. Elder teachings on community responsibility and accountability guide the exercise. Focus: Applying Respect, Care, Share to group decision-making; holding non-human voices in governance.
